Rules Of Uncontrollability

Many times when we lose control while working, we perceive this as a negative thing, and to avoid these situations we try to adopt strict work methods. But sometimes the most interesting and unique results come from the uncontrollability work. And so, as part of the project, I wanted to explore how working uncontrollably can lead to finding new ways of design and creativity.

I chose to test those experiments on the letter "Alef", the first letter in the hebrew alphabet.

To work in the state of uncontrollable work, I had to set myself very clear limitations and rules, while documenting myself on the process.

The project deals with the issue of design and development. It examines how habits can be changed in the designer's process, as well as how new methods of creation can be developed through the method of losing control.

The Experiments

I have presented all the experiments and the information about them through the digital platform, in a website format, which is basically the way to demonstrate these experiments to myself and to anyone who connects to the method and wants to work with it, for the purpose of always being able to continue to enter new projects and other experiments. Through the site you can also filter and search for experiments according to various parameters on the index page, and on the page of the specific experiment itself, the preparation process of the experiment can be seen, and the amount of the limit itself can be controlled.
